Membership of the Australian Association of Musical Instrument Makers is open to anyone interested in the craft, whether an active maker or otherwise.

The annual subscription runs by calendar year. All members received the Journal as a benefit—those overseas by airmail. Family membership—two or more members at the one address—entitles recipients to only one copy of each issue of the journal.
